Process Engineering Maintenance
These occupational competence qualifications will provide learners with the knowledge and skills to work within a range of engineering maintenance activities and cover Electrical, Instrument and Control, and Mechanical disciplines.
The qualifications contain Mandatory Units covering generic knowledge and skills including Handover, dealing with Hazards, working safely and working in a team.
Optional Units cover preparing for and carrying out maintenance activites and focus on either Electrical, Instrument and Control, or Mechanical activities, plant and equipment.
Who Can Take these Qualifications?
These qualifications will benefit learners who are already in employment within an Engineering environment but require additional knowledge and skills as part of an existing job role or to enable career progression.
There are no prerequisites to achieve these qualifications but they must be achieved in the workplace.
