Learning and Development
These occupational competence qualifications will provide learners with the knowledge and skills to work in a variety of roles that include learning and development. These qualifications are designed for individuals with an interest in and apptitude for training-related activities at a variety of levels.
The qualifications contain units covering an understanding of the principles and practice of Learning and Development and facilitating Learning and Development for groups and individuals.
The Certificate also includes a Mandatory Unit covering reflecting on and improving own practice and a range of Optional Units covering areas such as the assessment process, identifying individual learning and development needs, planning and preparing for learning and development.
Who Can Take these Qualifications?
These qualifications are intended for learners who are new to the Learning and Development role and wish to develop their knowledge and skills.
These qualifications will also benefit learners who are already in involved in Learning and Development but require additional knowledge and skills as part of an existing job role or to enable career progression.
There are no prerequisites to achieve these qualifications but they must be achieved in the workplace.
