Achieving Process Manufacturing Apprenticeships at GSK

Congratulations to 3 PAA\VQ-SET learners Kieran Shearer, John Collins and Chloe Greig who have recently achieved their apprenticeships at GSK working with Ayrshire College.

As part of the Process Manufacturing apprenticeship the learners all completed the PAA\VQ-SET SVQ 3 in Processing Industries Operations Controlling Process Operations at SCQF Level 6 (G9NF 23). 

 

All 3 are now in permanent employment following the completion of their apprenticeship.

 

The learners were given their certificates at a presentation ceremony at GSK. 3 further GSK apprentices have now started their qualifications and apprenticeships with Ayrshire College.

 

Stuart Miller, Director of Industry Programmes at Ayrshire College said, “Many congratulations to Kieran, John and Chloe who have worked diligently to achieve their qualification. The companies involved in Process Manufacturing add significant value to the Ayrshire economy and it is great to see a strong pipeline of young people following this path. Ayrshire College is proud to have supported the apprentices and I am sure all will go on to have long and fulfilling careers.”
