1.   QCF Qualifications Update

PAA\VQ-SET now have a wide range of qualifications accredited on the QCF, the majority of our NQF provision has now been transferred and we also offer a number of new qualifications including:

  • Level 2 & 3 Award/Certificates/Diplomas in Water Treatment

  • Level 2 & 3 Certificates in Transportation of Radioactive Material

  • Level 4 Certificate in Emergency Response in Processing Industries

Full details of all the qualifications that are available are given on our website; if you cannot see the qualifications you are interested in please contact us.

2.    Certificate Claim Forms – Original Signatures Requirement

This is a reminder that PAA\VQ-SET no longer require an original signature on Qualification Certificate Claim Forms. 

We still require that claim forms are signed by the Internal Verifier but this can now be a photocopied or electronic signature; this will enable Certification Claim forms to be sent to us by post, fax or email.

3.   Electronic Registration

 

PAA\VQ-SET would like to remind all centres that the Electronic Registration spreadsheet can be used to register learners for all of PAA\VQ-SET’s qualifications, instead of completing a separate form for each learner. This spreadsheet is available to download from the Centres - Existing Centres – Electronic Registration section of the PAA\VQ-SET website www.paa-uk.org

 

The spreadsheet comes with instructions and guidance for completion and a dropdown menu for qualification selection.

4.    PAA\VQ-SET 2011 Conference – office opening hours

PAA\VQ-SET’s 2011 National Conference is being held on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd November; our offices will therefore be closed from 12pm on Wednesday 2nd and reopen at 9am on Friday 4th November. If you wish to contact us please either send us an email or leave a message on our answer phone and we will get back to you as soon as possible on 4th.
