The theme for PAA\VQ-SET’s 2009 National Conference will be the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). It will introduce delegates to the changes that are occurring and explain how they will be affected and what they need to know and do.
Delegates will be able to choose from a selection of workshops and seminars focusing on themes such as what is the QCF; how the QCF differs from the current framework and how existing qualifications will be affected by the changes. There will also be the opportunity to attend workshops that concentrate on what the new requirements of the QCF will mean for centres; and provide practical advice on how to be a 'QCF' centre. Be first to be QCF ready!
Other sessions will consider how the introduction of the QCF will affect the funding of qualifications, and how LSC funding strategies are being developed to align with Credit. Cogent SSC will lead a seminar showing how they are working with employers to develop new flexible qualifications in the QCF. There will also be the opportunity to attend a workshop looking at improving business performance to hear what other organisations have achieved and how. |
